Lexie couldn't believe it, she had made it to her internship. For her first day, she had been sent to find Dr Montgomery. She had gotten lost twice on her way but ended up on the right floor, she had been told to look for a tall red head. Thinking she had found her, Lexie rushed up to her. "Dr Montgomery?" The younger girl questioned hoping she had the right person.

Addison had been flipping through a chart when she heard someone call her name.She turned around and saw a young woman standing beside her"I'm Dr.Montgomery.May I ask who you are?"Addison questioned.She looked familiar to Addison,but she couldn't place her.

Lexie gave her a smile when she said she was Dr Montgomery. Brushing her hand through her hair as she was asked who she was. "Lexie Grey, I'm one of the new intern and my resident sent me to find you." She explained, the smile unable to leave her face, she was doing well for her first day.

Okay that's why she looked so familiar.She was Molly Grey's sister.Which also meant she was Meredith Grey's half sister.She looked at Lexie and smiled"Well Dr.Grey,I am very priviledged to have you as my intern today."Addison knew if she was anything like her half sister,she was going to be a hell of a surgeon.

Lexie smiled and placed her hands in the pocket of her lab coat. She hated being bottom of things but she had set herself a goal to do as much as she can as soon as she can. She had no idea what she wanted to specialise in but her guess that no one did at this point. "I'm privileded to work with you. I mean, you were my neices doctor." She pointed out, the way the attending was looking at her she was sure that she knew Meredith well.

She looked like Molly.Not a lot,but she did.Addison saw little resembalance to Meredith though.Addison knew that it wasn't her place to tell Lexie that her helf sister was here.Eventually that would come out.Instead,she focused on Lexie's words and nodded"Yes I did.I took care of Molly and Laura both.How are they doing?"Addison also wanted to avoid the subject of Lexie's mother's death if she could help it.

Lexie smiled and nodded her head slowly. She hadn't been there much but had been around since her mother died and they both seemed fine for the time being. "They're good. Laura's making these babbling noises all the time and has a thing about my hair." She pointed out with a soft smile. She was only a few months old but she just grabbed anything she could within reach which normally happened to be her hair.

Addison laughed.It sounded like Laura was doing just fine.She smiled at Lexie,feeling unable to harbor any animosity towards her,even considering who Lexie's half sister was.She finally spoke"Well,it sounds like all is normal."She knew that she had to give Lexie her condolences.She looked at Lexie again and said"I am so sorry about your mother Dr.Grey."

Lexie nodded her head at Addison's second comment. It was all that she had had since it had happened. "Yeah, I feel bad because I was still at Harved, it was my last day. I know Meredith tried her best but my dad doesn't see it like that." She told Addison as she looked up at her. She understood that it was hard to spot she had studied it like mad after it happened and most people passed it off as other things but her father didn't understand. She wasn't sure if Addison knew that she knew about Meredith, she knew what she looked like but had never talked to her.

Addison knew that Meredith had tried to save Susan,but what she didn't know was that Lexie knew.She didn't know if Lexie knew about Meredith being her half sister though.She nodded her head at the comments Lexie made about feeling bad she wasn't there"May I ask why you wanted to do your internship here Lexie?"Addison was back to using the interns first name since they were just getting to know each other.

Lexie took a deep breath at Addison's question. In truth, she had loads of reasons to come here. She had wanted to be close to home. She had grew up in Seattle and wanted to be close to her parents again. "It's home and my families here. Also, I want to get to know Meredith. Mom went on about her all the time and how amazing she was. I didn't know how to aprroch her but here has the best surgeons I could wish to study under." She pointed out as she released her lip. Addison was one of those top surgeons she wanted to work under.

Okay,so Lexie did know about Meredith.Addison was secretly very relieved.She was glad that she didn't have to pretend that she didn't know that Meredith was here or that the nurses wouldn't be blabbing to Lexie.When she heard Lexie's comments about this place having the best surgeons to work under,Addison nodded"Well,yes,we have several world renow surgeons here.Dr.Shepherd,Dr.Burke,Dr.Sloan and of course myself."Addison left herself for last so Lexie didn't think she was bragging about her world renown status.

Lexie smiled, she had heard off all of them but she wouldn't be able to tell you who they were if you linned them up infront of her. Of course, she had been more interested in Addison since she had wanted to follow the same speciality as her but was open to ideas so just went to the surgical program. "Well, I think I'm more interested in your speciality and there seems to be alot of males this year, so I don't think I'll be fighting them as much as well." She told Addison with a soft smile.

Addison smiled at Lexie's words.Interesting,Lexie Grey was more interested in her specialty.That was more than Addison could say for Lexie's half sister.She shrugged and said"Well you may be more interested in my specialty now but it's a good idea to keep your options open."

Lexie smiled and slowly nodded, she knew to keep her options open which was what she planned to do incase she changed her mind. "Yeah, I do. I was thinking either this or neurosurgery but I'm not sure." Lexie pointed out as she eyed the chart in the attendings hand. She knew she wasn't going to get much more than labs but it was still something.
