Sophie leaned against one of the docks. It had been a few days since she made her mind up and went against the doctors wishes of leaving the hospital. Yeah she was a rape case and it was serious but to her it was just like another day. She had been tortured so much throughout her life that none of it mattered anymore. Looking at the bottle in her hand she dropped it into the water and sighed. She hadn't slept or ate in those days. She was feeling pretty lousy but she had to keep going. She was on the run from everyone.

Callie stood by the water and touched stoamch. She sighed happily. She had just recently found out that her and George's efforts paid off, she was pregnant. She looked down at her stomach and talked to the baby, that was no bigger than a peanut. "You are the best thing that has ever happened to me."

About to turn her head in Callie's direction a few guys came up to her. They obviously began to flirt with her. She liked the attention because at least someone or anyone was paying attention to her. "Hey boys" she said to them and smirked. A few things were passed around in this circle they had going on. Sophie slipped it into her pocket and gave each boy a kiss.

Callie looked over and saw a group of teenagers. She just smiled, not seeing Sophie in the middle of them. She just turned her attention back to the sound of the waves crashing against the docks. She continued to rub her stomach and talk to the baby. She told it about it's daddy, Seattle and all of it's family. She didn't really care who saw her. She was the happiest she'd been in a long time.

The guys had gone and Sophie smirked. Good business today. Looking up she immediately frowned at who she saw. It was Callie. 'Crap' she thought as she quickly turned around and looked from her left to right trying to find an easy escape when another guy came up. Apparently someone who wanted money now.

Callie was in her own little world. Callie closed her eyes as she relaxed to the sounds of the waves. She thought of how to tell George that she was pregnant. They'd been trying for awhile now and had been disappointed so many times. She actually cried when she saw the positive result on the home test.

Sophie was done with her dealing for the day or so she hoped it was. As much as she liked the attention she wanted it to stop for now. Heading over to where Callie was she forgot that the woman was even there. She leaned against the railing only a few feet from Callie. "Mhmm mommy is doing good today" she said rather loudly.

Callie opened her eyes and looked in the direction of the voice. There was Sophie. "Sophie?" she asked almost shocked to see her.

Sophie heard her name and turned her head to see Callie. 'Great' she thought to herself and put on a smile. "Hey Dr. Torres" she said to her.

Callie wanted to go over and talk to her but she just turned back to the water and focused on telling George about the baby. She placed her hands back on her stomach and looked at her flat stomach.

"You're pregnant?" Sophie said as she interupted her thoughts. She could spot a chick who was pregnant from a mile away. The way they put their hands on their stomach and the way they look at it.

[Callie Torres-O'Malley]

Callie looked over at Sophie. "Yes. I just found out this afternoon." she responded. She continued to rub her stomach, thinking of the child growing beneath her hand.

"Congratulations" Sophie said to her as she leaned against the railing of the dock. A smirk still on her face of earlier today.

"Thanks. So how's that arm?" she asked. Seeing that Sophie still had the cast on. At least she didn't try taking it off.

"A pain in the ass. You know lugging it around" she said to her and rolled her eyes. Sophie could do much better without it.
