Callie is a strong willed woman but she wears her heart on her sleeve. She's highly independant and is very competative. She once almost beat Meredith Grey to a pupl becuase she though Meredith spilled something she told her in confidence.

Callie was raised in a very rich family. She hid the fact that she had money because she didn't want people to think differently of her. She is the ortho resident at SGH and was just recently named Chief Resident, a title that was a complete surprise to her and SGH, since everyone though Miranda Bailey would get it.
She met George after he had fallen down a flight of stairs, she had to re-set his shoulder. She found him sitting outside the hospital and gave him her number. She almost gave up on him because he took forever to call her. The two began dating. The night the Denny Duquette situation happened, Callie confessed she loved him but didn't get the same form him. She was humiliated but coudn't help love him.
George became very jealous when Callie claimed Meredith Grey's panties were hers. he stumbled in on the Chief kicking Callie out of her basement apartment in her underwear. George flipped. She then moved in with him at Meredith's house, which freaked him out. After George told her he wasn't ready for them to move in together she left, but gave him another chance and he blew it. She then slept with Mark Sloan, a thing she described as dirty.This formed a lasting friendship with Addison Montgomery.
When George's dad was admitted to the hospital callie tried to show George how she felt but he didn't want anything to do with her because he found about her night with McSteamy. He finally came to realize that she was excatly what he needed, and kissed her while holding his father urine bag. After George's dad died, George became a sex addict, causing Callie to avoid him. He then proposed to her and they were married in Vegas.
After finding out that she was rich George did the unthinkable, he got drunk and slept with Izzie Stevens. Callie has no clue! She fianlly got up the nerve to tell George she wanted to have a baby. he agreed and the two have been trying to get pregnant.
