Meredith nodded her head. It didn't matter if she had alot of stuff aslong as it all fitted in her own room. "You'll like the others, there's Izzie, she likes to bake, alot. Uhhm Alex, he acts like a jerk but he isn't really and well theres me and thats it." Meredith told Lexie. "The others are all junior residents like me and well, you'll like them, I promise." Meredith added with a smile.

Lexie smiled, they seemed like an interesting bunch of people and seemed like a plus they had baker. "I love home made stuff so I have a feeling I'll settle in and I'll be the baby for once." She pointed out. She had always had to be the big sister to Molly and just wished she wouldn't have to be the oldest for once. It might feel good or she could hate it.

Meredith smiled when Lexi said she liked home made stuff, which even if you didn't before after tasting one of Izzie's muffin's you would soon change your mind. "So, um. Where did you for college?" Meredith asked her younger sister.

Lexie smiled at her sister (half-sister depending on where they saw each other). They needed to get to know each other and at first glance they didn't seem that much different between the two of them. "I went to Harvard college then I went straight onto university there. You?" Lexie questioned, it had took a lot of persuasion but she had got her parents to let her go.

Meredith nodded her head, Harvard, she was very smart. Well you had to be to study medicine. "I went to Dartmouth as an under and a post grad." Meredith told her. "So um, I guess you lived in Seattle your entire life well untill college that is?" Meredith asked.

Lexie listened to Meredith, taking everything in, glad she had a good memory or at least she hoped so. "Yeah, so I came back here because it's home and it's a good place to do your internship." She pointed out. She was glad they were getting on because this could have been really bad.

Meredith smiled and nodded her head. "We, my mother and I moved to boston. When I graduated high school she moved back. I came here because she was here, and she used to work here aswell." Meredith added.

Lexie nodded her head, she knew what had happened to Meredith's mother. It hurt but it hurt more that Lexie wasn't there. She wasn't there and she couldn't be there. "I'm sorry about your mother and my guess the pressure on you as well." She told Meredith. She understood how much pressure was on because as soon as she said her surname was Grey they expected she had some sort of relationship to Ellis. Well she does but stronger than what she had.

Meredith nodded her head, she didn't mind the pressure of looking after her mother when she was ill. She hated the pressure she had before her mother became ill. She had to be extraordinary in her mothers eyes. She and her mother often argued about what she should do in her life. She didn't want to go to med school at first so she travelled around Europe for two years and then when she came back her mother was diagnosed so she decided to go to med school like her mother always wanted. " Everyone knew what a great surgeon she was so everyone else expects me to be the same, but we're are different people. Most people don't seem to get that." Meredith said softly. " So, did Molly not want to go to college?" Meredith asked about her youngest sister.

Lexie knew what she was on about, you always had pressure on how your parents did. She hadn't been part of it but she felt like she had to live up to the 'Grey' name. As she asked about Molly she slowly nodded her head. "Yeah, her husband make's enough and she wants to be a stay at home mother." She explained, she was nothing like her sister in anyway.

Meredith nodded her head as she thought back to Molly, when she saw her, Molly had no idea who she was. "How is she? Laura's ok now isn't she?" Meredith asked. It had been a tough few weeks after Laura had been born, she was so small and ill, luckily she pulled through.

Lexie laughed, Laura was amazing. She took more after her than Molly but she was fun. "She's good. She has a thing about pulling my hair and putting it in her mouth." She told her with a smile. She was only a few mouths old but everything was getting put in her mouth when you held her so you had to be careful if you had earrings in.

Meredith smiled at the thought of Laura pulling everyones hair when only a few months ago she was seriously ill. "Who do you think she looks like, Molly or her husband?" Meredith asked. Meredith had never met her brother in-law and wondered what he looked like, Molly was so proud when she s[poke about her husband.

Lexie smiled, she loved Laura with all her heart, she was just adorable and was always loud and hated silence. "Like Molly, but she's starting to act like me more than anyone else." She pointed out with a soft smile. Rechng into her pocket, she pulled out a picture of her and Molly then slid it across to Meredith. It was like her lucky charm or something even if it was only taken a few days ago.

Meredith reached over and looked at the photograph of Lexie and Laura. Laura, did look like her mother, she had her colouring and her eyes. "She's very pretty." Meredith said with a smile as she looked at the pucture of her sister and her niece.
