Lexie let out a small laugh, she was pretty or beautiful. Whatever way you wanted to put it. "Yeah she is. Laura's lucky. She's found the right guy and I'm not even close." She admitted as she took a sip of her water. Things seemed to be going well and they just bounced off each other.

Meredith smiled sadly, she thought she had found the right guy but that didn't end up to well. "I'm glad she's found her McDreamy." Meredith said sincerly. She hoped that everything would become ok with Derek again, she missed him. Was there too much water under the...Whatever, for it to work out for them?

Lexie had to right back a laugh at the word 'McDreamy'. Who came up with that idea. "McDreamy?" Lexie questioned, wanting to check that she had got it right and it was what she thought it was and not something else.

Meredith nodded her had and her smile slowly faded away. "It's when you have your perfect guy, your soulmate even. Or in my case misjudge everything and now are McDreamy-less." Meredith figured that Lexie was thinking that she was crazy for talking about finding your McDreamy. "Me and my boyfriend or should I say ex, split up recently." Meredith told her.

Lexie looked at Meredith and understood what she meant, it was what she thought in the same place anyway. What else could it mean? When Meredith mentioned her and her boyfriend spliting up you could tell that they were close or were far into their relationship. "I'm sorry about you and your ex." She muttered, she wasn't big on the big on the whole boyfriend thing.

Meredith smiled softly and appreciated the kind words. "We have been through so much, I guess in the end he couldn't wait any longer." Meredith told her. It was nice to talk about Derek to someone, her friends kind of thought she was a broken record. "I should never have broken up with the vet, I knew he was the better guy....But still I went for the other guy." Meredith let out a sigh.
